With the courtesy and continuous support from our Ex-Students Volunteers, Janta Inter College, Palri has successfully founded the second library named “Gyan Kosh” inside the main library of the school. Purpose of this new facility is to enhance the inter-personal, communication skill of the students to help them in career guidance, G.K, Moral values and many other competitions by facilitating lot of non-academic books that is very relevant for the advancement of our youngsters.

The library consists of 180+ books on various subjects and also 11 monthly magazines to be delivered to school every month.

Students will be able to avail the new library facility from new session (July-2013) to have advanced learning material available for them, Gyan Kosh has made our school one step ahead of the others in the district.

Inaugration of the new library facility is done by Respected Principal “Mr. Pratap Singh” and our Manager “Mr. Khem Chand Panwar”.

The series of incidents happened for this task:

1. 30th June, 5 PM to 8 PM, Alumni Volunteer Team worked to setup books in library, posters, name plates, sitting arrangements etc.
2. 1 July, 9 AM, new session is started with Havan / Yagya.
3. 10 AM, Inauguration of Gyan Kosh in presence of all Teachers, Staff and Alumni Volunteers done by Respected Principal Sir & Mr. Manager.
4. Alumni Volunteer Team had meeting with Teachers, explained them the task and its motive, way further for them to implement and presented the list of books & Contributors with receiving of the documents for the same for Team’s records.
